Welcome to StamfordAsks!
Dec 13th, 2009 by David Greene

Do you want to learn more about Stamford’s Parent Leadership Training Institute? Do you want to learn more about the Community Conversation on Education? Maybe you’d like to read up on what Stone Soup for the 21st Century was and is? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you’re in the right place! The Mission of StamfordAsks.org is to bring information on services, events, and resources to the Stamford Community.

Working with DomusCalendars.org, we also provide resource lists, a parent survey to collect information on how Stamford can better serve its residents, a rich and vibrant photo gallery of related events, and more.

2-1-1 Navigator Promises Help In Locating Services
Nov 11th, 2009 by David Greene

Think of The 2-1-1 Navigator as an interactive interview. First they ask some basic information. Next, the ask some more questions based on your first answers. Try it. You’ll be surprised at how easy it is.

Once you are done, it’ll will tell you which federal and state assistance programs you may qualify for, and how to apply for them. The 2-1-1 Navigator can’t promise you will qualify, but it can tell you if it’s worth your time to apply.

Don’t worry about your privacy. It doesn’t ask for your name or address.

Ready to try it? CLICK HERE or point your browser to http://navigator.211ct.org
